Bobo the Three Legged Pup

During our outreach day, we had the pleasure of meeting BoBo, a remarkable dog with only three legs. After chatting with BoBo’s owner, we learned that he had been shot during a fight at a local park while in his backyard. Thanks to the compassionate care provided by Michigan Humane, BoBo received the necessary medical attention, which included the amputation of his leg.

Despite his ordeal, BoBo is now the epitome of happiness. We were fortunate enough to provide him with a new dog house, fresh straw, a brand new collar, and a lightweight tie-out. Additionally, we were able to supply BoBo’s owner with food and treats, and his gratitude was truly heartwarming.

As the winter months approach, we have decided that BoBo will be spending his time indoors. To ensure his comfort, we will be providing him with an indoor crate. BoBo’s resilience and joyful spirit continue to inspire us, and we are grateful to have been a part of his journey.
