A Dire Discovery
During one of our regular Sunday outreach programs, we encountered a scene that was both heartbreaking and alarming.
We came across Evander, a seemingly sunbathing dog, only to discover severe wounds on his head and neck. The sight was indeed distressing, and it was clear that Evander was in desperate need of help.
Despite his injuries, Evander allowed us to approach him, a testament to his trust and resilience.
Swift Response and Compassionate Care
Without wasting any time, we carried Evander with us, ensuring that he was comfortable while we completed our other outreach calls.
Our priority was to secure rescue for Evander as quickly as possible, and we were successful in doing so.
Evander’s journey of healing began with immediate medical attention and continued with lots of love and care from our dedicated volunteers. He received the necessary treatment for his wounds and was given a safe space to recuperate.
