The Challenge: Rosie’s Predicament
Rosie, formerly known as Sassy, was found in a precarious situation. She was living in a backyard with no supplies, and appeared to be injured.
Alarmed by Rosie’s condition, a concerned worker reached out to us. Upon arrival at the site, we made contact with the owner who was unaware of Rosie’s injury. Rosie’s condition presented an urgent need for immediate medical attention.
The Intervention: A Leap Towards Recovery
With the owner’s consent, we transported Rosie to a vet for a comprehensive check-up and X-rays. The diagnosis indicated a fractured front leg, requiring crate rest and daily medication. Understanding the extent of Rosie’s medical needs, the owner agreed to surrender her. This decision allowed Rosie to move into one of our medical foster homes, where she received all necessary medical care, including spaying, and thrived under their watchful care.
The Triumph: Rosie’s Remarkable Transformation
Today, Rosie is a testament to resilience and recovery. She lives on a farm with several other animals, enjoying her days in an environment filled with love and care. Rosie’s transformation has been remarkable – from an injured dog left in a backyard, to a happy and healthy pet ready for adoption. She is now ready to find a forever home that will continue to provide her with the love and care she deserves. This wonderful family decided to make their temporary care a permanent promise of love and companionship.
